How about some dessert? You won't find Greek pastries like these anywhere else in the Syracuse area. With many of our selections made right in our on-site kitchen by our parishioners, you're truly getting a taste of local, Greek culture!
We're a Christian Church
While we might be best known in the community for our Greek Festival, St. Sophia is first and foremost an Orthodox Christian community. Please visit our website, and contact Fr. David for more information. We always love visitors!
Stuff Your Face
Ask any Greek about eating at Yiayia's house, and they'll tell you the same thing. You don't stop eating until Yiayia says you do. This year, when you come to the Festival, pretend you're visiting Yiayia, and try a little bit of everything. You'll be glad you did!

Help Wanted!
Looking for a new perspective on the Greek Festival? We've got quite the proposition! Come join us by volunteering to work at the Fest. We are always excited to teach new people the ropes.
Are the Lines Magic?
No, unfortunately we cannot attribute our blazingly fast lines to magic. What we CAN attribute them too though is years of planning and adjustments. Some of you may remember the days of different traffic patterns. Check out this article by former Festival chairman Chris Tzetzis.
Come Learn "Kefi"
"Kefi" is the Greek word for the joy and energy behind the dance. Throughout the Festival, there will be times for open dance. During this time, seek out someone who looks like they know what they're doing, and join in!
